About Hilary Mody

Las Vegas is an exciting and vibrant city, however, it can also be stressful and overwhelming. Often despite the outward appearance of success, we feel lost. Life in general can be very challenging. I know this as a therapist, as well as a client, who has sat in the other chair myself. I therefore have tremendous respect for you in taking this major step forward toward personal growth and emotional healing.

I am a Las Vegas native. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at New York University. I interned in child and adolescent psychiatry at Metropolitan Hospital in Spanish Harlem. I volunteered my clinical services after the attacks of September 11, working with the paralyzing trauma of my fellow New Yorkers. This experience truly shaped my conceptual understanding of trauma from a broad perspective. I have worked in-patient in adult and geriatric psychiatry as well as private practice in both New York and Florida. Within both practices, I have worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ community along with our aging community, as I am also a Certified Gerontologist. I recently moved back to my place of birth, Las Vegas, to be closer to my family. I truly enjoy being home and helping the Vegas community to mitigate stress and reach their full potential!
